The Algarve is famous for its wonderful sandy beaches.
Armação de Péra is no exception and has one of the longest on the Algarve with over two miles of long sandy beaches.

Praia de Armação de Pêra

Large, family friendly sandy beach opposite the Armação de Péra tourist centre promenade. Very busy during the summer season.

Praia Albandeira

Beautiful small sandy beach, embedded in a little rocky bay between Carvoeiro and Armação de Péra.

Praia do Benagil

Situated in a rocky bay east of Carvoeiro, the beach is also used by fishermen. Access is via a steep road with limited parking spaces.

Praia de Caneiros

Pretty sandy beach in a rocky bay, east of Ferragudo, the fishing village near Portimao.

 

 

 

Praia Grande

Large sandy beach between Salgados and Armação de Péra. No infrastructures, ideal for nature lovers.

 

Praia do Pintadinho

Sandy beach with calm waters east of the fishing village of Ferragudo, protected by smaller rocks.
