We really enjoyed it. We went as a family and we were very comfortable. Less than a 7-minute walk from the beach, in a very safe area. I'm grateful because Jon gave us instructions and suggestions days before arriving at the apartment, which helped us better organise our arrival. Also to his assistant, who immediately resolved the questions we had.
So we recommend it. We felt right at home.

Very well-equipped apartment and space, it met all the conditions for us to feel at home.
Mr. Jon was super attentive, responsive and helpful. The apartment is in a great location, less than 10 minutes from the centre and the beach and with supermarkets nearby.
The pool at the top of the building gives us a great view of the sea.

Amazing location just a few minutes' walk from the beach, and the fact that the condominium has a swimming pool is spectacular. Everything was perfect, except the cleanliness. When we arrived at the apartment, we found the house in poor condition, so we still spent some time cleaning with products. Other than that, everything is 5 stars!

Incredibly practical apartment with walking distance to everything you need. Nice with parking in the basement if you travel by car, and very nice with a pool on the roof.
The apartment is perfect for a family of 4.

Spacious apartment, comfortable beds, easy parking and very close to the beach and downtown. A quiet area without noise. Jonathan is very attentive and responds very quickly to everything you may need. Nice rooftop pool. You can visit spectacular beaches only 15-20 minutes away by car.

We spent 12 nights at Jon’s apartment and had the most wonderful time. The apartment was about a five minute walk from the beach shops and restaurants.
Jon sends a PDF before you arrive and it’s extremely detailed with lots of recommendations for things to do he also responds to messages in record time and we found him to be an absolute pleasure to deal with he also arranged a welcome package as we were there more then a week
I would have no hesitation in recommending the apartment or the location as it has everything you could possibly want.

The property is amazing. It is located near the beach and shops. We were provided with cutlery, dishes and plates and all the white goods worked and were in great condition. The best way to describe it is 'A home away from home.' The property owner was also prompt with his responses, ensuring that the booking process was stress free and our stay enjoyable. The location was great, the cutlery and the white goods provided where in great condition. It was a home away from home. The location of the apartment is great, the Supermarket is close by and the pool on the roof is very cool, but the beach and the way to other places in the Algarve were great too. In the apartment there are two folders with lots of tips for things to do.

Booking with Jon through Airbnb was easy. Directions were provided; his in-town agent was easily accessible via WhatsApp; the fridge was graciously filled so we didn’t have to go do groceries on the first night! Any questions/concerns were met without hesitation. We were very happy with our accommodations, and will definitely recommend Jon as a host to our friends looking to travel, and will definitely remember our stay if we chose to come back again.

We have been visiting Armacao for 10 years now and Jon’s apartment is one of the nicest we have ever stayed in. It has all the amenities and modern stylish furniture that you would want. Jon and Sonja their agent were lovely to deal with at all times. The apartment is excellent value and is full of the relevant information for things to do in the local area if you have never been to Armacao before. I would have no hesitation in recommending staying here at all and I’m sure we will definitely rent again next time we are in the area.

Great week on holidays! The photos correspond to reality... Well-equipped, spacious, and very comfortable home. The beach is a 5-minute walk away. Lots of markets and restaurants nearby. Very nice and quiet area for strolling at night. The location is perfect and the beach wonderful! I recommend it to everyone... ideal for families, couples or group of friends. Large well equipped apartment. Only slight downside was small balcony and the building noise outside which started quite early in the mornings. However, once they have finished the building work (to refit the park area) it will be lovely.

Just back from a 12 night stay with family at this apartment it has everything you could need and more an amazing apartment in a great location close to everything bars restaurants and supermarkets and only 5 mins walk to beach although we used the rooftop pool which was great the communication with Jon throughout was excellent and codes a self-check in went very smoothly didn't have a meet and greet only because we arrived at night have no hesitation in recommending this apartment.

My wife and I stayed for two weeks in the apartment, not to use the pool or sit on the excellent nearby beaches, but to explore the local area by car and on foot. The apartment was clean and tidy, well equipped and great for relaxing in. It has games, books, DVDs, wifi and a variety of TV channels to provide entertainment. We sat out on the balcony at breakfast and most evenings, it overlooks a green central area that attracted lots of small birds to roost each night. The underground car park kept the black hire car out of the sun, making it easier to pop in and out at different times of the day. The town has a friendly and laid back atmosphere, some entertainments but mostly a place where strolling along the promenade in the evening is a family event. Jon and Caroline provide plenty of information on the local area, aided by local agents who ensure guests are welcomed and have some basics on hand to get them started.

We had never been to Portugal before and were delighted with the location of this apartment. It is a very spacious apartment including bath and shower. Very well furnished and spotless apartment. Kitchen had all utensils etc. Roof top pool was an added extra. Welcome pack included which was great until we went the local supermarket. Amarcao do Pera has fantastic beaches and restaurants within 5 minutes walking distance. We hope to return in the near future. We had an excellent stay and the apartment was perfect for our needs. We loved the location and would certainly consider renting it again should we travel to the Algarve in the future.
We very much enjoyed our time in the apartment. The apartment was very well equipped and extremely clean.
The location was excellent and no need for a car with multiple beaches/ bars and restaurants all within very easy reach of the apartment. The rooftop pool was also well used by us and we were lucky enough that it was never busy when we used it.
The box of items which could be used on the beach was also very useful. We added to this also leaving a unicorn float and a new beach umbrella which we could not unfortunately fit in our case.
Welcome instructions and information pack were both extremely clear.

We have stayed here twice now and plan to return in February 2015
The flat is spacious, spotlessly clean with plenty of equipment. It is in a good location being about 5 minutes walk from the sea front. There is parking outside and a space underground, which would be really useful in the height of the season, when cars get hot if left outside.
We always go off season and this is one of the few flats we have found which face west, thereby bringing in the sun when the days start to get chilly. There is air con for when the days are warm. The balcony is lovely for breakfast, lunch and early evening drinks!
I have never met the owner, but he is very amenable and accommodating, always replies to emails and didn't mind a bit when I broke his teapot!

This is a lovely, spacious, very well equipped, nicely furnished and comfortable apartment that is conveniently situated for local beaches and amenities and also for exploring the wider Algarve.
A generous welcome pack is provided and the 'meet and greet' service from the agent is very good, with lots of useful tips.
Jon and Caroline have also provided lots of useful information for days out, restaurants, etc. and there's a whole library of films and TV channels if you fancy an evening in.
Secure underground parking is great if you have a car. Good air conditioning, nice rooftop pool for a cool dip after a hot day out!

"Very relaxing holiday" We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay at this apartment.
The apartment had everything, a home from home. The apartment had satellite TV, films on hard drive, current books, parasols, sunbeds etc. etc. Also very convenient for the centre, beaches, supermarkets and restaurants.
Roof top swimming pool is the jewel in the crown! Great stay.

This apartment is very suitable for a long term winter let. The lounge and balcony face west. This means that the sun shines on the balcony from about lunch time until just before it gets dark. In addition the sun shines right into the lounge making it warm and sunny in the afternoons. We have stayed in apartments in the Algarve which face other directions and they can be very cold during the winter months. In addition Jon has provided portable electric radiators which keep the apartment warm in the mornings and when the sun goes down.
It is exceptionally well equipped, especially in the kitchen which made self-catering very easy.

The apartment is located in a quite and peaceful place, yet near the centre of Armação de Péra and the beaches, just by walk. With that location we had the opportunity to visit one of the 100 most beautiful beaches in the world, like Navy Beach (Praia da Marinha).
The house was completely equipped with all the accessories that we needed to make full meals and also to felt nice and comfortable..
The welcome package was unexpected, completely surprise and very, very, elegant, also perfect for first impressions. A place and cordiality no one should miss.

The apartment is great and has everything you need (and more) when on holiday. The furnishings are very comfortable and the in-house movies were very welcome as we did not have the best weather.
They have truly thought of everything and provided us with lots of information regarding the apartment and surrounding area before we travelled, including a map of the area which came in handy. Also, the welcome pack was great and very welcome after the early morning flight.
The apartment location is only a very short walk from the beach and shops and truly felt like home when we were away. Thank you very much we had a great time!

We had a brilliant holiday and we loved everything from the website to the apartment, the meet and greet service at such a late time, the welcome pack and the area, I could go on for ages.
The one big complaint I had was that I had to leave the area and Portugal to come back to the UK, which was cold, dark and well...

Thank you very much for letting-us your apartment. It was just the right size for what we had in mind and, complete with all the mod-cons of modern life. The apartment was close to my sisters and, close to everything. Great location!!
It was great to have the BBQ on the balcony, it was used a few times during our stay. The welcoming pack was just perfect, thanks to you for organising these little touches, they make all the diference!

I have just had the best Portugal experience ever! The apartment was in a fantastic area with literally everything in five minutes walking distance!
With two teenagers and two small boys the apartment had all the equipment needed to make my holiday hassle free, there was even a laundry change part way through!
The beach and restaurants were so accessible with a massive range to eat and drink. Prices were soooo much cheaper than other European countries!
I am defiantly going back next year so I intend to book now before anyone pinches my weeks! Marvelous!!!

Wicked apartment, Jon and Caroline have a fantastic apartment that is well maintained and has everything you would need to make you feel at home whilst you are enjoying your holiday.
There are loads of things to keep you and the kids occupied. Armacao de Pera is such a nice place, with some of the best beaches I have ever been on. Would definitely recommend.

We enjoyed a lot your magnificent apartment in Armação de Péra, our stay was very satisfactory and we recommend the apartment to our friends, family and colleagues.
We were able to snorkel in the area of 'Praia de Rocha' with a guide from 'Delphinus Divers' which is in my opinion the best school in Armação, for a price of only 30 Euros including some material (fins).

We have been having holidays in the Algarve for a number of years, in and around Armação de Péra. This was our first experience of the apartments in the Quinta dos Arcos area and it did not disappoint.
The apartment is in a fantastic position for the town, beach, restaurants and bars all of which are just a short walk away.
Jon and Caroline have an excellent apartment which was extremely well appointed which we certainly consider returning too and recommending to anybody wishing to stay in Armação de Péra.

A well presented apartment with just about everything you need for a great holiday. Friendly service throughout, from booking to our return home. The snacks on arrival was just the icing on the cake!
Great walking distance to beach but if have car drive to Portimao & try beach called Praia da Rocha - absolutely stunning.
Even though we were here only for a few days, it felt much longer! We would recommend to all our friends. Thank You !!

We arrived late in the evening to find a chilled bottle of wine in the fridge along with drinks and fresh food to keep us going until we got to the shops.
The apartment was very spacious and clean with a good supply of towels and toiletries.
Our girls loved the rooftop swimming pool and with the beach only a 5 min walk, we were spoilt for choice!
The visitor guide book was very helpful with advice on where to eat out and places to visit. We referred to it often!
We were very impressed with how well the kitchen was equipped. It gave us the choice of eating in where we could make use of the BBQ on the patio.
The DVDs and games supplied were great at keeping the girls entertained. The apartment had a real home from home feel which meant the whole holiday was very relaxing. Thank you for such an enjoyable stay!

Jon and Caroline have made a superb job in decorating and furnishing the apartment. The accommodation was extremely well appointed and we would certainly consider returning in the near future.

A really nice apartment with everything we needed, very large beds, a wonderful living room. We had a barbecue on the balcony. I would definitely recommend it and I will rent it again.
